Oscar Anderson Garner, 75, went Home to be with Jesus Wednesday, October 12, 2016.

Andy was a professional truck driver and diesel mechanic and enjoyed every minute of it. When he was not working, or enjoying his family, you could find Andy outside. He enjoyed gardening, plowing and his tractors. Andy was a member of Raccoon Valley Church of God, where he managed the sound board at church.

He is preceded by his parents Murk and Mable Garner; and several siblings including Ralph, Glen, Dean, Kenneth, James, Deward, Charlene, and Linda.

Andy is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Patsy (Chapman) Garner; his children Lisa (John) Piacitelli, and Andy Lee Garner; his step-children David Chapman, Brian Chapman, and Darrell (Misty) Chapman; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and his church family.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff of Parkwest Hospital and Stat Care for all the special care and support given to Andy and the family. They would also like to especially thank Dr. Estes, his Lung doctor, and Dr. Xenopolous, his heart doctor, for their dedication.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 15, 2016 from 12pm to 2pm with a Funeral Service at 2pm; with Pastor Don Fox will be officiating, at Woodhaven Funeral Home, 160 Edgemoor Road, Powell, TN 37849. The interment will follow the Funeral Service at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens.
